I don’t always know I’m tired until I lie down.
And even then I can feel the subtle ways I’m still holding myself up.
A tight jaw, tension in my legs, shoulders hovering like they don’t trust the ground.
Restorative yoga is basically the art of yielding - letting tension melt into gravity without collapsing. It’s comfort with real support: nothing hanging, nothing straining, nothing secretly working.
It’s made me realize something:
A lot of us aren’t bad at resting.
