I think most of us know the feeling of moving through a day a little too fast, moving slightly ahead of ourselves.
You’re making coffee while thinking about a message you need to reply to. You’re walking somewhere without really noticing the street you’re on. You’re doing the next thing, then the next thing, then the next thing, and somehow your body is there, but you’re not quite in it.
And then, sometimes, life gives you a pause and you finally stop long enough to feel what’s already here.
That’s what this meditation is.
